The Mommies in Need Teen Team
Provides an opportunity for high school students to help the organization in its mission to provide
in-home childcare to stay at home parents going through a health crisis by volunteering at various events as well as raising awareness about the organization within the Dallas community.
This is a wonderful chance for teens to learn about service, be a part of a community of like-minded individuals and complete assigned school volunteer hours if applicable. We also have a Teen Board, which oversees the Teen Team. This is an opportunity have a leadership position within the organization. Positions available include: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Social Media Correspondent.
Applications for 2015-2016 Teen Team - Are Now Open
The 2015-2016 Teen Team will serve from September 2015 through May 2016. All applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 1. Students interested in applying must be able to commit to attending a minimum of two team meetings per year as well as eight service hours. By submitting this application participants are agreeing to a one year commitment as a member of the Mommies in Need Teen Team and agree to complete the required hours for service and meetings. There will be several service opportunities throughout the year to choose from, ranging from writing thank you cards to top donors, providing child care during fundraising evens, helping set up and clean up fundraising events and packing bags for nannies.
