For families that qualify, Annie’s Place provides full-time, in-home nannies at no cost, for the duration of your health crisis.

Previously known as Mommies In Need’s In-Home Program.

How to Qualify

The primary caregiver is currently going through a health crisis. Priority is given to parents who need full-time care for children under the age of 5.

A Health crisis is something that temporarily disables the parent and prevents them from providing care to their children.
For longer-term illnesses or treatment plans, care can be provided for 3-6 months during which time it will be up to the family to arrange a long-term childcare solution.
No specific income level is required for help. This service is provided at no cost for anyone who qualifies.
Families must reside in Dallas County.

A team member will review your application and respond to your request.
References will be required including
- Formal Doctors Note
- Local friend/family reference
A home visit will be scheduled.
A determination decision will be made via committee.
If approved, care will begin as soon as a suitable nanny is available in your area.
The application process can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. The further in advance, we get an application, the more likely we are able to provide care.
