Who We Are
Mission & Vision
At Annie’s Place we are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates diversity, both in our employees and the families we serve.
Our Company Values
Authentic
We create and protect an environment where everyone feels safe to express their personal values and perspectives. We support each other in both success and failure and celebrate our diversity of experiences. We have the courage to be honest and transparent and while we might not always agree, we commit to listen to and respect each other. Our work can be heavy, but we strive to keep our hearts and spirits light.
Compassionate
We are aware of the suffering of others and share a desire to relieve it. We practice forgiveness, kindness and honesty and turn toward rather than away from difficult situations and conversations. We give grace to others and to ourselves.
Innovative
We nurture big ideas and creative, fearless people. We celebrate productive failure as an important part of the process of creating and implementing something new. We recognize that the needs of our clients and community are ever-changing and we are willing to adapt and evolve to meet those needs.
Collaborative
We aim to create a vibrant community that works together toward our shared goals, and we recognize that in order to do that we must listen to and value the input of all stakeholders. We believe in a mindset of abundance instead of scarcity and collaboration instead of competition.
Extraordinary
We are never satisfied with “good enough.” We lovingly push ourselves and each other towards our potential.
Meet the CEO & Founder of
Annie’s Place
Natalie Howe Boyle is the founder and CEO of Annie’s Place, a nonprofit organization with the mission of caring for kids so that families can access healthcare. Born in Dallas, Natalie returned here after earning a degree from Georgetown University to be close to family while raising her twin daughters.
Soon after the birth of her twins, Natalie went through a series of severe health challenges, including a cancer diagnosis. This experience, and those of other moms she had met throughout her journey, opened her eyes to the challenges of being a parent of young children while managing a medical crisis, and the lack of resources to help these mothers care for their children. In 2014, Annie’s Place was born to help bridge this gap. Since its inception, the nonprofit organization has provided more than 30,000 hours of free childcare to families going through a health crisis through in-home care, virtual visits and, Annie’s Place Childcare Center at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
